What Do You Get?
With DocuFreezer, you can convert your files to:

PDF, Portable Document Format (.pdf), created by Adobe Systems Inc., is one of the most universal file formats on the Internet. It is used to create and present documents across multiple devices, systems, and platforms. With its ability to preserve data in its original form, PDF ensures that the file doesn’t lose its visual quality after being sent to another person. This media container is very widespread since PDF files can be opened on most devices and different operating systems. PDFs are used to exchange a wide range of data which can be contained within a single file: texts, images, spreadsheets, diagrams, email messages and more.
TXT, Plain text (.txt, .text) file is a standard text document which contains basic text with minimum formatting. It is recognized by any text editor or word processing program and is also supported by most other types of software. *.txt files are used for storing data in plain text without special formatting, however, they have basic fonts and font styles. This format is usually used to write notes, instructions, pieces of code and other documents in a basic way.
JPEG (.jpg, .jpeg), named after The Joint Photographic Experts Group who invented it, is a popular type of image which is usually stored in the JFIF (JPEG File Interchange Format) file format. JPEG applies certain compression to images, which can lead to a significant reduction in file size – consuming less space on your hard drive compared to most other image types. Different levels of compression can be applied during file conversion to JPEG, and they affect the visual quality of the resulting file. Thanks to their small size, JPG files are perfect for publishing photos and images online.
PNG, Portable Graphics Format (.png) is one of the most popular uncompressed raster image formats out there, which is usually a small type file that maintains good quality. It supports a wide range of colors and different degrees of transparency. PNGs are generally larger than GIFs or JPEGs but have a few pros compared to other image types, such as the ability to display transparent backgrounds. They are perfect for graphics like logos, charts, illustrations, and infographics.
TIFF, Tagged Image File Format (.tiff, .tif) is one of the most common graphic image formats which can store multiple layered images under a single file and can handle color depths ranging from 1-bit to 24-bit. TIFF files can be lossy or lossless. It depends on the compression algorithms applied, such as LZW compression method. This flexible image format is commonly used in scanning, faxing, publishing, printing, photography, and various imaging applications.

What Do We Convert?
DocuFreezer converts most of the supported file types only by its own internal processing core. In other words, you don’t need any additional software. However, to convert certain types of files, DocuFreezer will need additional software. Since you already have these documents, it is likely that you already have the appropriate application installed. Please refer to the “Required software” column to find out exactly which software you will need for each file type.
