This Privacy Policy explains how fCoder SIA handles information when you use DocuFreezer, visit docufreezer.com, purchase a license, or contact support.
DocuFreezer and your files
DocuFreezer converts files on your computer by default. You do not need to upload files to our website to convert them. If you manually select Labelary for ZPL conversion, the ZPL data is sent to Labelary's server. The default ZPL conversion component works locally. ZPL data may contain personal information, so consider this before selecting the external service.
DocuFreezer also creates local logs and settings files. These may contain file names, paths, and technical information about conversion.
License activation and updates
When you activate a commercial license, we receive your Serial Number and non-reversible checksums derived from your computer name and Windows user name. You can activate automatically through the application or manually using an Authentication Number and our activation web form. We use this information to issue and manage your license.
DocuFreezer may check for updates. An update check sends technical information about the application and license. We retain activation and license records for as long as needed to provide and support lifetime licenses. These licenses have no set expiry date, so the records have no fixed deletion date.
Support and bug reports
If you send a bug report from DocuFreezer, we receive the name, email address, and description you enter, together with application logs and technical diagnostic information. The logs may contain your Windows user name, computer name, and the name or path of the current open file. Nothing is sent from the bug-report dialog until you click Send Report.
You can also export logs and settings to a ZIP file on your computer and decide whether to send it to us. If you send us a document or screenshot to explain a problem, we may use it to investigate the issue and test a fix. Please check what you send.
We manage support requests in Zendesk. We keep support correspondence and ticket history for 10 years. We keep submitted files and logs for as long as reasonably needed to investigate problems, test fixes, prevent regressions, and improve DocuFreezer.
Website and purchases
When you visit docufreezer.com, our website processes technical information such as your IP address, browser information, requested pages, and timestamps to deliver and protect the site. If you use the support form, we process the name, email address, subject, and message you provide. The form uses Google reCAPTCHA to limit automated submissions. Some pages embed YouTube videos; Google may receive technical information when those services load.
PayPro Global handles purchases and payments, including payment by invoice. We receive the information entered in the purchase form except payment card details. We use it to deliver and support the license. We retain purchase records without a fixed deletion date so that we can continue to administer lifetime licenses and their purchase history.
Analytics and cookies
We use optional Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the website. Analytics runs after you choose Allow analytics. If you choose Decline, analytics remains off. You can change your choice at any time in Analytics settings. We store your choice so the website can remember it. We do not use advertising or remarketing trackers.
Legal bases and your rights
We process information to provide the application and website, manage purchases and licenses, answer support requests, protect our services, and meet legal obligations. Depending on the activity, we rely on a contract with you, a legal obligation, our legitimate interests in operating and protecting our services, or your consent for optional analytics. Other information is kept only as long as needed for these purposes or as required by law.
Subject to applicable law, you can ask to access, correct, or delete your personal data; restrict or object to its processing; request data portability; or withdraw consent. You may also complain to a data protection authority. Contact us to make a request.
