What’s new in DocuFreezer 5.0:
New features:
- New file editing operations: Auto Crop, Crop rectangle, Crop margins
- Adding barcodes and QR codes as a watermark
- Saving current DocuFreezer Settings as an .INI file and loading them when needed
- Ability to apply different settings to individual files or groups of files in the List of Files
- Ability to enable macros when processing macro-enabled Word documents
Adding files and exporting file lists:
- Plain text (TXT) file format can now be used to save & load file lists
- CSV spreadsheets can now be used to import file lists
- New custom file filter for adding files via Add folder button
Improvements for CAD drawings:
- Updated component for better processing of DWG and DXF drawings
- Ability to skip "Not to Plot" layers
- New Display line weight and Fonts to bold settings
Work with attachments:
- Ignoring attachments of unknown type is now set by default
- Ability to set up a placeholder instead of an unsupported attachment
- New ways to extract EML and MSG attachments when processing Outlook emails
Other improvements:
- Ability to use Acrobat as OCR component for better text recognition (Adobe Acrobat must be installed)
- New OCR languages: Italian and French
- Correct reading of HTML file encoding if it is not specified in the HTML file code
- New text watermark and output file name template macros: User name {user} and Computer name {computer}
- Ability to use JPEG compression when images are converted to PDF (Image to PDF embedding)
- Only one instance of DocuFreezer is now enabled by default
